COWLITZ COUNTY — Planning staff announced a closed-record public hearing on a preliminary rural subdivision plat for Cooper Hill, a reconfiguration that would add one lot to an existing short subdivision near Cooper Hill Court in Castle Rock.
Sahara Cooley, senior planner with building and planning, said the application is from Chilton Development Services and lies at the intersection of Spirit Lake Highway and Shaffrin Road. Cooley said the county received no public comment and only general agency comments during review.
The item will be considered under the Cowlitz County rural subdivision code because the project modifies a prior four-lot short subdivision within five years. Staff did not provide a recommendation in the preview; the closed-record hearing will allow commissioners to consider the planning record.
