Kenai council simplifies city-league fees, removes team fee and raises individual rate

Staff said eliminating the team fee while increasing the individual participation fee keeps revenue "roughly" the same: "We're making the same amount of revenue roughly," Parks staff said.
City Manager confirmed the intent was to simplify fees and noted the change largely "becomes a wash financially" for the city. Council members expressed support for the simplification, saying removing the team fee makes it easier for participants to sign up.
