Charlotte County BZA re-elects officers for 2026; Blair McVetty to remain chair

During the Jan. 14 meeting the Charlotte County Board of Zoning Appeals held its annual election of officers for one-year terms. A motion was made to retain the current slate: Blair McVetty as chair, Steven Viera as vice chair and Nicole Baer as secretary. The board voted in favor by voice vote and the slate will serve through the next regular election cycle.
Assistant County Attorney Kimlyn Walker noted the officer terms run for one year and that the election normally occurs at the last regular meeting in January. The board confirmed the slate and thanked members for their service.
