Atascosa County approves several contracts and development items including DroneSense software and Little A Addition plat

The commissioners court approved a set of administrative and procurement items Jan. 12. IT staff presented a five-year DroneSense software agreement to support the sheriff's office drone; the contract term was described as a five-year price lock with annual renewals and the county attorney will review terms before the county judge signs electronically. The court approved the purchase.

The court also approved an agreement with Crowell LLC to update the county fixed-assets inventory as of Dec. 31, 2025, for a one-time fee of $2,150 and authorized the county judge to sign the agreement pending county attorney approval.

The county clerk presented a database access master agreement with Title Data Incorporated and Halfile Systems Corporation to provide FTP access to records; this master access had been previously approved on Nov. 10, 2025, and the court authorized the county judge to sign the finalized documents.

Finally, the court approved the final plat for the Little A Addition subdivision on Bridal Lane in Precinct 4 after the rural development office confirmed it met requirements. Commissioners requested coordination with the newly appointed Precinct 4 commissioner regarding the site after approval.

All items were moved, seconded and recorded as carried on the record. Contract terms and budget line items were noted; the county attorney had already reviewed or was asked to review several agreements.
