AmeriCorps and county announce MLK Day service event; new deputy director joins health department

In staffing news, Jay Gardner introduced Randy Colstad as the county’s new deputy director of health and environment. Colstad summarized more than two decades leading public‑health programs internationally, described experience with procurement and program performance management and said he lives in Brewster. Commissioners welcomed Colstad and said his experience would strengthen the department’s capacity.
