Denton County reappoints members to two emergency services district boards

Commissioners reappointed Mark Page and Jared Hardwell to Emergency Services District No. 1 for two-year terms. An unidentified commissioner moved, “I move we reappoint Mark Page and, Jared Hardwell to the emergency service district number 1, ESD 1, board for a 2 year term,” and the chair seconded. The motion carried on a voice vote; no opposition was recorded.
The board also reappointed Donna Welch, Jeffrey Grubb and Jerry Kirby to Emergency Services District No. 2 for two-year terms. An unidentified commissioner moved, “I move we appoint reappoint Donna Welch and Jeffrey Grubb and then Jerry Kirby to the emergency service district number 2, ESD 2, board for a 2 year term.” The chair seconded and the motion passed on a voice vote.
In brief remarks after the votes, a speaker thanked the board members for their service and said the ESD is in a stronger position than before. The meeting was then adjourned.
