Planning commission elects Paracas as chair; Tyler Fox named vice chair and ZBA delegate

The Troy Planning Commission conducted nominations and elections for chair, vice chair and the commission’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) delegate. After nominations from the floor and brief remarks, the commission approved a slate naming Miss Paracas as chair and Mister Tyler Fox as vice chair; the commission also recommended Mister Fox as the planning commission’s delegate to the ZBA (city council will formally appoint that delegate).
Commissioners praised outgoing and continuing officers for their service during the nominations process. The slate was moved and seconded; the roll-call vote recorded unanimous support among voting members present and the chair announced the motion carries.
The newly elected vice chair and ZBA delegate will assume the vice chair role at the next meeting and serve as the commission’s recommended delegate to the ZBA until the council appoints a replacement (if any).
