After no public opposition, the board closed the hearing and voted to approve the license; the applicant on the call confirmed plans to open and thanked the board.
Energy-efficiency fund appropriation (Town Hall weatherization): Town staff requested use of up to $83,450 from the Energy Efficiency Fund to pay for weatherization work at Acton Town Hall to support planned electrification upgrades and reduce energy use before major HVAC work. Select Board member David moved to approve using energy-efficiency funds; he amended the motion to specify the amount ("up to $83,450"); the amended motion was seconded and approved by voice vote (Aye).
Consent items: The board approved a series of consent items including multiple-day malt and wine licenses for Theater III, a one-day malt-and-wine license for Apple Valley Catholic Community, multiple donations to department gift accounts (digital credit-union donation to the fire department and others), and authorization for mosquito-control access for vegetative management.
