The planning and zoning commission had recommended approval (6–0) with stipulations including homeowners association language and recorded easements; a written letter from a Mr. Anderson dated August 2024 was noted as already read into the record at the preliminary hearing and the planner said it did not need to be re-read.
A motion to approve the final plat passed on an oral roll call with all members voting aye. The resolution (2026-3) was read into the record and adopted; it directs the chairman of the board and the Dickinson County auditor to certify the action and affix it to the recorded plat.
