Pulaski board approves permits, equipment donation and several routine items

Mister Keith presented the freight permit application for the north side of the square for Family by Design and moved approval; the board approved the permit by roll call. On equipment, Mister Keith explained Lieutenant Turner had detailed the police department’s newer taser models and that 5 or 6 older units could be donated to the county corrections department; the board approved the donation.
The board authorized staff to advertise a contract for Maplewood Cemetery grass cutting and maintenance; staff will draft bid terms (frequency, scope) and determine whether one contractor will cover multiple common areas. The board also authorized advertisement of specifications prepared to rehabilitate and clean small twin tanks on Magazine Road.
Under old business the board recognized Chief Diggy’s 34 years of service and moved to reappoint Aaron Curry to the Board of Zoning Appeals and to add Mister Lambert to the senior citizens board; motions were approved by roll call. The board also accepted a thank-you note from a Boys & Girls Club member.
