County staff updated the board on several infrastructure matters and the board approved a mix of resolutions and agreements.
Staff said a Bridge 307 grant application was submitted but the county’s score (66 of 120) made funding this year unlikely; nonetheless staff recommended adopting a resolution to proceed. The board moved and unanimously approved the resolution for Bridge 307.
Separately, supervisors considered a '28e cooperative agreement and a consultant contract with Kimley‑Horn to support a planned 2026 BUILD grant application; staff said the consultant will prepare economic analysis and related materials. The board approved both the cooperative agreement and contract by motion and unanimous vote.
In related capital items, staff told supervisors an available used truck matched earlier specifications and was being offered at roughly $133,000. Staff described acceptable hours and condition, noted a plan to auction the existing unit if purchased, and advised the board that purchase could proceed without a formal motion if department leadership confirmed the buy.
The board recorded unanimous ayes on the formal resolutions and contract approvals. No additional financing details or bidders were announced during the meeting.
