The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority on Jan. 12 approved a 4.448% merit increase for the executive director following a board performance evaluation. A board presenter summarized the review process and reported the computed average result: “Everything added up and divided by the number of board members, it's 4.448%,” the presenter said.
A motion to adopt a 4.448% merit increase (retroactive to the start of the fiscal year in October) was moved and seconded. The board then conducted a roll‑call vote; the minutes record affirmative votes from the named members present. The merit increase will be processed through the DDA payroll/finance office as retroactive adjustment.
Board members publicly praised staff and the executive director for the recent work on Old School Square, marketing achievements and operational progress while acknowledging concurrent audit work.
