She said a sample resolution from Stark County (which disbanded its board two years ago) was provided to commissioners to use as a template.
Commissioners expressed broad support for disbanding the board if statutory obligations are maintained and noted the county must retain required records until the legislature or county prosecutor provides guidance allowing changes to storage fees or methods.
No formal resolution to disband was voted on at this meeting; commissioners directed staff to follow up and bring a draft forward for formal action at a subsequent meeting.
