County holds public hearing, approves $16 million amendment for E‑9‑1‑1 upgrades

Becky Lenehan, Finance and Tax Officer in the auditor’s office, told the board: "This is an amendment to our FY25‑26 budget in the amount of $16,000,000. It's for upgrading and adding in the hardware and software for the E‑9‑1‑1.” She said the amendment is intended to fund an upgrade project the county has been planning.
After taking public comment (none against was recorded) the board closed the hearing and later voted to adopt the related resolution (listed in the meeting as court design resolution 09‑2026) authorizing the project‑related action.
