Kenosha County board unanimously approves reappointments, rezonings and committee referrals

Clerk read county executive appointment items Nos. 57–64, naming individuals to the Local Emergency Planning Committee and the Kenosha County Traffic & Safety Commission; several of those appointments were referred to the Judiciary and Law Enforcement Committee or Public Works and Facilities Committee for further review. Planning, Development and Extension Education Committee reported Resolution 161 recommending the reappointment of John Coffee to the Silver Lake Management District Board. Supervisor Brown moved Resolution 161 and Supervisor Robinson seconded; the board voted in favor and the resolution passed unanimously. Other routine business included the clerk reading communications about a proposed purchase of 7395 38th Street in Kenosha and the referral of several property-damage claims to Corporation Counsel. Supervisor Garcia moved to approve the minutes of Dec. 2, 2025; Supervisor Decker seconded and the board approved the minutes unanimously. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn and unanimous consent to adjourn.
