He told the commission the engineer of record, Amiro Gutierrez Engineering Corporation, and staff recommended awarding the contract to the lowest responsive bidder.
Mister Mendoza said the recommended award is "in the amount of $516,152.91 with a contract time not to exceed 100 days." The commission approved the award by voice vote.
The measure implements a capital project to adjust stormwater operations near the IBWC levees; staff did not provide additional funding-source details during the meeting. The commission recorded no roll-call tally in the record; the vote was announced as carried.
