At the Jan. 13 meeting the Town of Templeton Planning Board recommended Nicole Roberts, an applicant in the packet who works in the Winchendon planning department and lives in Dublin, for appointment to the planning board. The board agreed to let the select board consider the appointment at a joint meeting that the transcript records as occurring "on the 20 sixth," and members said they will attend the select board meeting to provide a quorum and to support the recommendation.
Unidentified Speaker 2 told the board that Nicole Roberts’s resume was included in the packet and that she is experienced with subdivision rules and land-use regulations. The board did not take a formal vote to appoint her—appointment must be done jointly by the select board and the planning board at the scheduled joint meeting.
On reorganization of officers, a motion was made to maintain current positions. The motion passed by voice vote; the meeting record shows the clerk (Michael) will remain clerk and Charlie will remain vice chair under the current arrangement.
The board will place Nicole Roberts and any reorganization items on the select board agenda for the joint session and will notify her to attend.
