Herbert said NCS develops visual, research-based learning materials, inclusive curricula and an online learning-management system to make public-facing services more accessible for people with disabilities and older adults. "We specialize in creating research based visual learning solutions that reduce the forgetting curve and enhance knowledge for adult learners," she said.
Committee members discussed a potential April workshop focusing on independence and employment. Herbert said Sylvia Gill (NCS founder) would provide fee details and a full proposal; the committee asked that the proposal be emailed to Isabella Creighton and Ethan Riviera so staff can coordinate logistics and discuss venue and travel fees.
