The board approved a pretrial and justice services grant acceptance from the Michigan Department of Corrections for fiscal year 2026 (manager Eric Schmidt said the award supports 18 positions despite being lower than the request) and approved an interlocal agreement with the city of Auburn Hills to join the Oakland County Sheriff's Office SWAT team (routine formality).
