Transit director Chad Ingle said the site would consolidate transit information into a single platform, improve ADA accessibility and help meet federal and state communications requirements. Commissioners questioned whether the project expanded service, whether the vendor had an existing county relationship, and whether the work should be done through the county’s existing web resources. One commissioner asked whether the contract represented an expansion of service; Ingle said it was not.
A motion to approve the contract was made but did not receive a second, and the chair said the item would be revisited at a future meeting.
