(April 15–18) with an estimated trip cost of $28,659 and $540 for substitutes; 43 Future Health Professionals (HOSA) students to a leadership conference in Hershey (approx. $3,490); 50 high‑school chorus students and staff to the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division Conference (district cost $5,320); and 26 cheerleaders and coaches to a national championship in Orlando with a district transportation cost of $158.31.
Board members asked whether travel spending strained the district budget.
