The Virginia Department of Health confirmed the soils can accommodate private well and septic systems. Staff found the proposal consistent with ordinance requirements and recommended approval subject to conditions.
Chase Grog (LandTech Resources), representing the applicant, described the simple family subdivision and confirmed the front trailer and field location of the new lot. No members of the public spoke in opposition at the board meeting. The board voted to approve the family subdivision on a roll call.
