Lake Stevens swears in new commander and officer; chief reports four vacancies

The chief also introduced Ryan Graves, who graduated from the Basic Law Enforcement Academy in January 2025 and previously served briefly in Redmond. Chief Bizzizzo noted the department currently has four vacancies — a corporal, a detective, a traffic officer and a police officer — and said recruitment and a corporal promotion would be on a near‑term agenda.
