The resolution authorizes acceptance of the grant and a budget amendment to increase Land and Water Conservation income and expenses to enact the award.
Supervisor Trevor Hice moved the resolution and Supervisor Paulson seconded. Tablet votes were read and recorded as 29 yes, 0 no, and 1 absent; the chair declared the measure passed. Board staff noted the budget amendment requires a two-thirds vote of the 30-member county board and the result met that threshold.
The resolution directs the finance director to make the necessary budget adjustments to enact the grant award.
