Westland Goodfellows praised as volunteers, businesses and police support toy drive

Council and the mayor praised the Goodfellows’ volunteer base and urged residents to continue supporting volunteer‑run services and the Lighthouse Home Mission winter shelter program. The presentation included onstage recognition of multiple sponsor organizations and distribution of awards to groups who helped with last‑minute rescues of families whose sponsors backed out.
