In his remarks, Tracy Bowers thanked colleagues by name, recalled family ties to city service and said he would remember the relationships he formed while working for the city. He told the council, "We have over a 150 of service to this community. We've given our time for this community. We love this community. We care about this community." Council members and attendees applauded and offered their thanks.
