The Turlock City Council recorded several routine approvals during the meeting:
- Annexation (Item 10a): Council approved annexation number 40 to Community Facilities District (CFD) 2 for property at 3831 N. Walnut Road and adopted the associated resolutions after the clerk confirmed required notices and signed waivers were on file. The combined motion passed with a recorded 4-0 vote.
- Camera-system design contract (Item 11b): Staff recommended and council approved an agreement with Guidepost Solutions not to exceed $165,300 for camera system design services to standardize coverage at city-owned facilities. Staff said Guidepost’s work would produce a design standard and recommended technologies; timeline to deliver the plan was 90 days. The motion passed by recorded unanimous vote.
- Final readings (Items 9a and 9b): Council held and then passed second/final readings for two ordinances amending the Turlock Municipal Code (Title 7 and Title 8). No substantive public comment was received on these items at the meeting.
- Consent calendar: Council approved the consent calendar but pulled item 8j for separate consideration (later discussion of 8j resulted in tabling the speed-bump installation).
