Heather, who led the presentation, said the plan uses the state template and outlines identification, progress monitoring, and a range of academic and social‑emotional interventions under the district’s MTSS structure. She noted some intervention staff are funded partially through Title I or other programs, so the at‑risk FTE figures in the plan reflect only the portion charged to the at‑risk budget.
Administrators said they will review outcome measures annually using the Iowa School Performance Profile data and adjust interventions as needed. The board voted to approve the at‑risk plan and then approved submission of the MSA application to request the full allocation the district is eligible to receive; administration said the general fund will cover a historical shortfall on the order of roughly $10,000–$20,000.
The board moved and approved both actions by voice vote. Administrators will return with periodic progress reports and outcome data as the state performance profile becomes available.
