IT staff recommended the platform after demonstrations; speakers Josh Tipsword and Diane Marceau reviewed technical fit. Administration estimated a baseline implementation cost of roughly $10,000, rising toward about $14,000 with some add‑ons; replacing the district website provider as part of the package could yield an estimated $25,000 savings when the existing website contract expires. The district will continue to use Infinite Campus for the student database and learning management systems like Canvas separately.
Board members asked about parent input and platform features; presenters said a communications committee and parent representatives reviewed the product and gave positive feedback. The board moved and approved ParentSquare by voice vote.
Administrators said they will provide rollout details and cost breakdowns to the board once final contracts are completed.
