Staff emphasized that the amendment does not change development rights or entitlements in the district; it is intended to improve clarity for staff and developers. No members of the public registered to speak on the item. After brief board discussion with no substantive changes requested, the board forwarded a recommendation of approval to the city commission.
The ordinance will return to the commission for final action.
