The Broadwater County commission used its consent agenda to appoint and reappoint residents to several county boards.
Appointments approved included Charles Freshman to the planning board (three‑year term), Gord Pierce to the noxious‑weed board (three‑year term), Peter Rice to the noxious‑weed board (three‑year term), Eric Stoll to the solid‑waste board (three‑year term), Doug Jones to the solid‑waste board (three‑year term), and Lauren McLaughlin to the fair board (one‑year term). Commissioners praised several appointees for their experience and community involvement and urged residents to consider service on other boards with openings, including public health, parks and recreation and the mosquito board.
