The School District No. Re-3 Fort Morgan Board of Education completed several routine actions by unanimous roll-call votes at its Dec. 8 meeting.
The board approved the consent agenda (routine items) by roll call. Later in the meeting, members approved a two-year slate of board committee appointments covering 2025–27. The board also accepted monetary donations: a $300 gift from the Sunrise Optimist Club (for a turkey product combine) and $603.80 from the United Presbyterian Church for school supplies. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by unanimous Aye votes.
Roll-call format: For each motion the chair called the roll and board members recorded Aye votes; no No votes or abstentions were recorded in these actions.
Why it matters: These items are routine but allocate donor resources to schools and set committee assignments that guide board work for the next two years.
What’s next: Staff will post required acknowledgments for donations and implement committee assignments per board direction.
