- House Bill 270 (data center impact analysis and report): override 111-24. - House Bill 1037 (energy resource adequacy and planning act): override 96-39. - House Bill 384 (Maryland Disability Service Program): override 126-9. - House Bill 56 (procurement: local food purchasing program for Dept. of Education): override 127-8. - House Bill 333 (health care ecosystem stakeholder cybersecurity work group): override 127-8. - House Bill 1316 (youth-centric technology and social media resource guide): override 126-9. - House Bill 128 (climate change adaptation and mitigation; assessed cost study): override 98-37. - House Bill 328 (state lottery: instant ticket machines — veterans and fraternal organizations): override 134-1.
The clerk journalized each override and sent messages to the Senate. The House also adopted standing rules for the special session, added a new standing committee under an adopted amendment, and made committee appointments.
What this means: Each bill will proceed to the Senate for its consideration of the House’s override vote as provided by legislative process. Some measures (notably the studies and planning bills) will require follow-up committee work to define technical scope, cost estimates and reporting deadlines.
