The San Miguel County Historical Commission convened Nov. 18 and approved minutes from its March 11, May 13 and July 8, 2025 meetings by voice vote.
Those administrative approvals were routine. Speaker 3 moved to approve the March minutes and Speaker 4 seconded; the panel then approved the May and July minutes after similar motions and voice votes. The commission also discussed meeting cadence for 2026 and agreed to remain on a bimonthly schedule with meetings at 5:30 p.m. on the second (or, as needed, third) Tuesday of the month.
Commission staff said they will circulate a draft work plan for 2026 by email for member comment and will set the January meeting date via calendar coordination. No further formal actions or budget votes were recorded at the meeting.
The commission adjourned after confirming next steps and routine project updates.
