Harbour Master Claude Wallen told the commission the marine industrial overlay has functioned well on borough property and urged the commission to forward the application to the assembly. Commissioner (speaker 7) moved the recommendation and the commission approved it on a roll-call vote.
Commission discussion noted the rezone is consistent with prior overlay uses and that the borough has limited industrial land. The recommendation will move to the borough assembly for final action.
