Reagan Dunn, who identified themself as vice president of the Never Dunn Foundation, said the foundation runs multiple events and has staged the run in South Kingstown for five years. The permit authorizes the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., contingent on executing a hold-harmless agreement, providing a certificate of insurance naming the town as an additional insured and approval by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.
During the meeting an applicant question surfaced about a full-term lease/insurance form the foundation had received in the mail; the town clerk said staff would look into that and follow up directly with the applicant. Council approved the permit by voice vote.
The clerk advised the applicant to coordinate the insurance and hold-harmless paperwork with town staff before the event.
