Sanford mayor announces small-business training, marina rebuilding and infrastructure upgrades in year-end update

Mayor Art Woodruff delivered a year-end update for Sanford in late 2025, outlining several city projects and community events and urging residents to take part. "We're coming to the end of 2025, and what a year 2025 has been," Woodruff said as he introduced the announcements.
Woodruff said the city's economic development department will roll out an online training program "for any business within the city of Sanford" aimed at helping small businesses get online, improve marketing and, where applicable, "improve their restaurant." He said information about the training will be posted on the city's website.
