Commissioners praised the treasurer's office and the CashVest team. A public commenter questioned the use of outside consultants for county functions, and commissioners responded about fiduciary responsibility and benchmarking benefits.
Separately, communications staff presented a video thanking the board for a recent donation to local food banks. Leaders from Saving Grace, Heart Ministry Center and Food Bank for the Heartland described how the funds were used during recent SNAP delays, citing distributions and protein purchases and saying the support helped thousands of residents.
