The Scotts Bluff County Board confirmed Donald Graham, a local pharmacist, as the community representative to the Kaplan board of directors for the Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (Pathway). Graham’s experience in pharmacy and with Medicare counseling was cited by the appointing group, and commissioners voiced support before approving the appointment by roll call.
In a separate motion, the board assigned commissioner committee seats and liaison roles previously held by the outgoing commissioner to the newly appointed Commissioner Matt Parsley, with the exception of one alternate seat on the regional governance group. Commissioners said these assignments are temporary pending a reorganization and asked staff to update lists and distribute the revised committee assignments.
Staff will deliver updated lists to commissioners and the clerk’s office.
