Appointments and contracts: The council approved a one‑year extension to the on‑call engineering contract with Fussin O’Neil and appointed Mary Hunt as interim deputy public works director from Jan. 5, 2026 through about Apr. 1, 2027 while the public works director deploys with the National Guard. The council also approved a set of reappointments to boards and commissions and moved other routine consents.
