The mayor read the proclamation affirming the city's commitment to volunteer engagement and invited JustServe representatives (Alex and Victoria) to receive a plaque and promotional materials.
Staff thanked local volunteers and said they are exploring a JustServe club at area schools. The mayor and council took a photo with volunteers and accepted a framed proclamation into the mayor’s office.
In staff reports, city administration highlighted several community developments: an Ozarks Tech Lebanon Medical Simulation Lab ribbon-cutting occurred recently and leadership invited council members to tour the facility; a phone-pay option for utility billing went live and late fees resumed beginning Nov. 1; and a Mogul Moth postage stamp featuring local subject matter will be one of eight national stamps released next year, with an unveiling event expected in Lebanon in spring.
Council also mentioned upcoming community events, including the Christmas parade and the mayor’s Christmas-lighting event. The meeting closed by approving a motion to enter closed session for legal matters.
