During concluding business, the Montgomery City Board of Justice approved minutes from the previous meeting and conducted officer elections for 2026.

The board voted to approve the minutes by voice. Members then nominated and re-elected John Stanley as chairman for 2026; members voted in favor by voice. Nominations for vice chairman produced a nomination of George Howell; Howell accepted and the board voted in favor. Members discussed attendance and approval percentages during the floor discussion preceding the vote.

A motion to adjourn was recorded immediately following the elections and the meeting concluded on that motion.
