Mid State Technical College’s District Board accepted the FY25 audited financial reports at its Dec. 15 meeting after staff summarized the auditor’s findings.
College staff told the board that Wipfli (Brian Anderson, CPA) performed the audit and that the auditor issued a clean (unmodified) opinion with no internal control concerns. Two federal financial-aid findings were identified; staff said the magnitude of the findings was immaterial ($0 and $12) and corrective action plans have been submitted. The college must forward the audit materials to the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) by the end of the calendar year as required.
Board members asked follow-up questions and were offered additional detail via email or future meetings. The board moved, seconded and approved acceptance of the audit by roll call.
