The Thurston County Board of Health on Jan. 13 appointed Charles Edmondson to the Pest & Vegetation Management Advisory Committee following a staff recommendation from Kimberly Graham in the environmental health division.
Graham told the board Edmondson is employed with the Louis County Noxious Weeds Group and brings applicator and pesticide‑use experience that staff judged a good fit for the advisory committee. The appointment motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; staff said two other committee vacancies remain.
Board members expressed support for filling the remaining openings and thanked Edmondson for applying.
