Rodney Sadler, deputy city manager, asked the council to authorize an ordinance required by the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission to execute a state block grant for runway remarking at Kirksville Regional Airport (Project 25-0228A-1, CFDA 20.106). The grant provides $116,547 toward the project with a city match of $6,135; council approved the ordinance on first and second readings.
