During the meeting the committee took items 5 through 9 on consent. Espinosa read each item into the record: Item 5 directed a temporary closure around 1 of 3rd Place in Watts; Item 6 directed a temporary closure of Hoover Street in Harbor Gateway; Item 7 designated the intersection at Crenshaw Boulevard and 54th Street as James Jim Macbeth Square; Item 8 designated the intersection of 225th Street and Halsdale Avenue in Harbor Gateway as Janet Horse Square; and Item 9 adopted the Bureau of Engineering's mitigation, monitoring and reporting program and engineer's report related to a street vacation affecting sections of 96th Street, Sepulveda Boulevard and adjacent segments.
Chair Dionysus moved to adopt items 5, 6, 7 and 8 as written and to adopt the Bureau of Engineering's recommendations for item 9; Councilmember Hutt seconded. Espinosa recorded two ayes and stated the items were approved as presented. No additional debate or amendments were recorded.
