The Hawaiʻi Community Development Authority met Jan. 7 and approved two sets of minutes without correction: the regular meeting minutes of Oct. 1, 2025, and the special meeting minutes of Nov. 17, 2025. Chair Sterling Higa recorded no objections and the minutes were approved as presented.
The authority also received the executive director’s monthly staff report, which included approved permit applications that did not require public hearings under HRS 206E-5.6. Executive Director Nakamoto noted the report was in the meeting packet and staff was available for questions; no public testimony was offered on the item.
Chair Higa thanked attendees and adjourned the meeting at 11:43 a.m.
