Council appoints Jesse Allen to Greenwood Economic Development Commission

Jesse Allen, appearing online, described himself as a Greenwood resident and said he wanted to contribute and learn; council members noted his architectural background as an asset. Eric Rheingart spoke in support of local economic development and described prior experience with Aspire Johnson County and the Public Revenue Education Council.
Following discussion and endorsements, Jonathan Myers moved to appoint Jesse Allen; Ron Bates seconded and the motion carried.
Council thanked both applicants for applying; no contesting roll-call tally was recorded in the transcript beyond the recorded ayes.
