The Woodland Park Downtown Development Authority on Jan. 16 approved a slate of final grant reports for small businesses, authorized several TIF reimbursements and approved payment of a November legal invoice.
Josh, representing DDA staff, said the final report for Joni's Cafe and Bakery was received but one paid receipt remained outstanding for that file; the board voted to approve final reports conditionally, making approval of Joanie's Deli and Bakery contingent on submission of the paid receipt. "We received the invoice showing the amount to be paid... so on for that one, we're gonna go ahead and add it as one of the final reports to be approved, but it would be a conditional approving... the condition would be that that final paid receipt be provided," staff said.
Board members then approved grant final reports for Zeb's Outfitter and Colorado GearLab (with abstentions where directors had a business interest). The board also approved a TIF reimbursement for Trail Ridge Apartments totaling $61,989.48, which staff said represents 50% of the property tax that was paid; staff noted the reimbursement rate originally began at 75% and had been reduced to 50%.
The board also authorized payment of a November legal invoice in the amount of $6,298.24.
Votes on each item were recorded verbally in sequence; several directors abstained from votes when their businesses were on the agenda.
