The Common Council approved a substituted agreement extending the District 5 Holstein show arrangement for 2026 through 2028, allowing continued use of the Kettle Barn area and the Egg Building at the fairgrounds.
Staff said the revised agreement includes technical updates: an increased usage fee, a renter responsibility to return buildings and grounds to preexisting condition, indemnification of the city and its agents from claims or damages, and a prohibition on subleasing or assignment. Park and Recreation Board reviewed the agreement and recommended approval at its Dec. 8 meeting.
A motion to substitute and approve the District 5 Holstein 2026'2028 agreement was moved, seconded, and passed on a roll call vote recorded by the clerk.
